True or false?
Once your new home is completed and you receive your keys at key handover, your home builder simply disappears without a trace?
False! Many people think that once they’ve built, that their home builder is no longer there to help out with any other queries or issues that might arise with your new home. Here at Move Homes, we have a 12 month period after you receive your keys. So if there are any issues or defects that arise, we’ll fix that issue without any extra costs to you.
What is the maintenance process?
When you complete your Key Handover with your Sales Consultant, you’re provided with a 12 month maintenance form. Here, you’ll list any issues or faults you may experience during the first year of living in your new home.
Our maintenance team will arrange a day to inspect the issues and then resolve them. We’ll fix, at no cost to you, any structural issues of concrete foundations, brickwork roof frame. However, regular home owner maintenance will go a long way in preventing any problems from arising.
If you have an electrical, plumbing (leaking taps), appliance, or hot water unit issue then notify maintenance as soon as possible. You don’t have wait the 12 months for these issues as they’re deemed essential and you cannot live without these for an extended period of time.
