Big things happened back in 1992. Wayne’s World hit the cinemas, Shane Warne made his Test debut, and I had just moved from Zimbabwe and bought my first home. It was a cheap and nasty house in Scarborough that in hindsight, wasn’t the smartest decision. But it was the first step in my property journey that has included working in finance and for the past 21 years, the new homes industry.

I have many contacts in the land sales industry and there are sometimes off-market opportunities which can be worth considering. My work is mostly via referral and as such, my customers enjoy the highest level of service and transparency. This is because I work to ensure the best outcomes for them as this is important to retain my referral network, and hopefully get referrals from you too!

This is a different approach to must building reps who work for companies and demand a hard sell, before passing on the file to the next person with little regard for the people building their dream home.

Mine is more of a concierge service where I become the central point of contact and liaise with your finance professional, your settlement agent, the pre-start ladies, and your site supervisor. This is unusual for most sales representatives and means that less things go wrong. My role runs till 12 months after you move into your new home as that is the initial warranty period for our new homes (we also have a 25-year structural guaranty on our homes).

My favourite suburbs

I’ve helped clients build all over Perth, and with so many great suburbs it’s hard to choose my favourites.

I love cycling on the coast, so I couldn’t go past Jindalee which is one of Perth’s best coastal suburbs. Harrisdale in the south is a hidden gem because it’s close to everything and has leafy streets. I’ve also picked Craigie because many people are surprised that they can build a new home in an established suburb.

But no matter what your preference is, I can build your single storey home in many of Perth’s best suburbs. Just let me know where you want to live, and I’ll do the rest!

My favourite home designs

We’ve got plenty of standard home designs to suit your family’s needs and your budget.

I’ve had a lot of enquiries for infill blocks, especially for rear strata or battle-axe blocks. The Noble is suited to an 18 x 19m rear block and comes with 4 bedrooms and a storage area.

Dual living or inter-generational designs are also popular as more families continue to live under one roof. The Aspen and Chestnut designs tick all the boxes for families, and also provide the possibility to rent out in the future.

Display villages are becoming less popular, and for good reason.

I prefer to visit homes under construction because you can see the same quality that your home will be built to. Display homes can cost an extra $150k on top of the standard home design, so it can leave some home buyers feeling unsure about what they’re getting in their new home.
