Here at Move Homes, meeting our clients is kinda like dating. We want to know what you do for a living and where your job is. We want to know what you get up to in your spare time, what you like to do on the weekend, and if you have any kids.
But with the Government Grants ending on the 31st December 2020, things are changing. Instead of a lengthy courtship, we’re basically speed dating. We still ask the same questions, but we both need to make a decision as soon as possible.
So to help you on your journey, here’s what you need to know about us and the grants.
Can I still get the grants?
Yes! You still have time to access up to $55,000 in Government Grants! This includes the $25,000 Federal HomeBuilder Grant, the $20,000 WA Building Bonus Scheme, and the $10,000 First Home Owners Grant.
But, the closer we get to December, the smaller your window becomes. This is because there will be less blocks of land for sale, and less time for us to produce your Build Contracts.
How long will it take to get my Build Contracts?
At the moment, we are producing Build Contracts in 5-6 weeks. To put this into perspective, there are some Perth builders that are taking up to 12 weeks. Plus, if you choose one of our standard home designs, we will have your Build Contract ready in 3 weeks. How good is that! You can find out more about this offer here.
If you are wondering why this timeframe is so important, it’s because of the grants. One of the conditions to receive the grants is that you sign your Build Contract before the 31st December 2020. So if you add 12 weeks from now, you’ll end up in 2021 (bye bye grants!).
What plans can I choose from?
You can choose from our entire range of standard homes (there are 77 designs!). Plus, you can also make changes to the plan, such as adding in French doors, changing the window style, or increasing the size of the Master Suite.
Some builders are only offering a handful of designs or are limiting the number of changes you can make to your design. But not us! You can check out our range of home designs here.
What is Move Homes doing that other builders aren’t?
We are still taking on new clients.
That might sound silly, but some builders have reached their capacity and can no longer produce the Build Contracts in time.
We are holding our pre-start meetings in our Selection Centre.
Clients can meet with our Pre-Start Consultant to choose their colours and materials, as well as going to the Trevors Carpets and Crosby Tiles showrooms. Other building companies have stopped these meetings, and you can select pre-made colour schemes only.
You can make changes to your home design.
Want to add in a scullery? Do it! We are allowing our clients to make changes to their designs and still meet the grant deadlines!
