Move Homes builds custom designs around Perth

Did you know that Move Homes has over 30 standard home designs? Many of our clients choose their favourite and tweak it to suit their needs. But sometimes, we create something brand new to suit their needs. If you follow our Facebook page you might be familiar with some of the unique designs we’ve done. Here’s some of the custom home designs we’ve done across Perth.

Home for a rock star

The Clients: A family with a budding musician.

The Brief: A large home on a large 900sqm+ block. The living area will also act as a band rehearsal space so the kitchen area will need easy access. Parking will be towards the rear of the block so there’s no need for a garage.

The Outcome: Check out that living area! There’s an incredible amount of space for rehearsal and impromptu gigs. The double doors leading into the home and Alfresco, combined with the fire place, give the home a rustic feel.

Can I get an amen?

The Clients: Mum, dad, and their kids.

The Brief: Plenty of space- large bedrooms for each of the kids, a massive living area, and a closed-off area for watching movies. Plus, there needs to be a dedicated and private Prayer Room.

The Outcome: We took our Oahu design and made some modifications. We reconfigured the kitchen to create a huge island bench without losing any storage. The Prayer Room is private and secure, and each bedroom is huge with its own robes.

The forever home

The Clients: Mum, dad, and their future kids.

The Brief: A forever home for a growing family. There needs to be plenty of space for both living (separate Home Theatre) and entertaining (large Alfresco and living area). Storage is also a necessity.

The Outcome: First, we found the perfect block by the sea. Then, we created a custom home design to suit the family’s needs. The Master Suite is its own retreat with a huge dressing room and is conveniently next door to the nursery/study. There’s plenty of storage with the massive walk-in linen and dedicated storage area in the garage. Then there’s the open plan living that looks out to the Alfresco- perfect for dinner with friends and family.
