Did you know that Eglinton is one of Perth’s fastest-growing suburbs? And one of the major estates in Eglinton is the Allara estate!
The transformation of Allara is well underway! Kinkuna Park is arguably the best park in the northern corridor and the Mountain Bike Track at Aduro Park is mid-construction. There are still schools, shops and community facilities that are still to come.
Also in Eglinton will be the new Eglinton Train Station, which will make getting into Perth even easier. That will also connect to Yanchep which is going to have even more facilities that Eglinton residents can access!
The Master Plan
Kinkuna Park
This brand new park is one of Perth’s very best playgrounds! For starters, it’s a WaterPlay park, meaning that in the summer months the Splash Pad turns on the vortex water tunnel, water sprouts, fountain spray and jet streams. But there’s also fitness equipment, basketball courts and plenty of green grass for the kids to run around on. And of course, you’ve got toilets and a BBQ so you can spend hours with your family, friends and new neighbours.
All aboard!
The train line to Yanchep is already underway! Expected to open in 2023, trains will begin running from Eglinton Train Station to take you straight into Perth CBD. You’ll also have car bays, bicycle racks and bus connections that will link throughout the estate, with the station being built just 600m south of Allara.
Your own community
We’ve already mentioned Kinkuna Park and the new train station, but there’s plenty more happening within the estate. Two primary schools and a secondary school are in planning, as well as an indoor recreation centre and district open space. There’s also going to be a neighbourhood centre along Impressions Drive, and the new Arduro Mountain Bike Track will be opening soon.
