Meet the newest land estate in Perth’s northern coast- Eglinton Village!
This masterplanned estate will be home to around 1,200 families seeking the coastal lifestyle. The beach is just 3 minutes away, but you will also have a host of urban amenities. There’s the future primary school and a proposed commercial precinct within the estate. The new Eglinton Train Station is 500m away, as well as all the new schools, shops, parks and much more in this growing corridor!
The Master Plan
Community care
Like many new estates in Perth, Eglinton Village is built for families. The estate will have walking trails and a conservation park where the close-knit community can come together. The new primary school will also add extra convenience for families, as will the proposed commercial centre. And with the new train station just 500m away, getting to and from Joondalup and Perth CBD will be even easier!
Save on energy
Eglinton Village will be WA’s first community with an energy sharing network. Nicknamed Eve, residents can opt-in to have solar panels on their roof that flow into a community distribution network. This can provide a 20% savings each year for residents!
Standing on its own
When you drive through Eglinton, you will notice just how much it has grown. It’s no longer a semi-rural suburb, that a developing urban centre that will be part of the self-sufficient Yanchep to Alkimos region. We’ve already mentioned the new Eglinton Train Station (update: it’s now open!), but did you know that there are plans for new retail and commercials shops surrounding the stations? The long term vision for the area includes a new marina, hospital, tertiary campuses… the list goes on!
