So, when is the last time you visited Yanchep? This northern suburb is one of Perth’s fastest growing, and one of our favourite estates is Yanchep Golf Estate.
This master-planned estate by Peet will eventually be home to more than 1,500 families. And we get why people move here. The kids can walk to the future primary school within the estate and Yanchep Secondary College is just down the road. There will be 20 local parks, including a 2ha park with BBQs, and 30kms of paths. And you’ve got the beach on one side and Yanchep National Park on the other.
But of course, one of the major attractions is the future Yanchep Town Centre. You will be just 600m from the future Yanchep Train Station and a bustling city that will service the 50,000 Yanchep-Two Rocks residents.
Built for families
There is so much to do for families in Yanchep Golf Estate. Firstly, there is the beach just down the road, including the kid-friendly Yanchep Lagoon. Secondly, Yanchep National Park borders the estate and is great for keeping fit. But it also has plenty more, like a future primary school and playgrounds in the estate. Plus, there will be 30kms of walking and cycle paths linking the estate with the rest of the suburb.
Game of golf?
In case the name wasn’t descriptive enough, Yanchep Golf Estate is next door to… a golf course. The Sun City Country Club has been voted one of Australia’s top 100 courses. How good is that! And the stages of the land estates are scattered throughout the course, so you’ll have a backyard view like no other!
But if golf isn’t your thing, don’t worry. Because with 38% of the area dedicated to green open space, including 5kms of pathways in the estate, there’s plenty to enjoy!
Get Connected!
There is plenty happening in Yanchep! Just down the road from this estate will be the future Yanchep Train Station that will get you into Perth CBD in 49mins (update: now open!). There will be 1000 parking bays, heaps of bike facilities, and the extended Mitchell Freeway.
And all this is in the heart of the Yanchep City Centre. There are plans for 15,000 new jobs, a stadium, tertiary campus, offices, warehouses… you name it! Plus, the Government has committed to the ECU Health Centre.
