Here at Move Homes, we use Colorbond as our standard roof material because it’s sturdy, low maintenance and it looks great. And now, more colours have been added to their range to give you more options for your new home! You can check out the new Colorbond colours below or view our Style Guide for more inspo!
Dover White
We’re expecting this colour to be one of the most popular! The new Dover White is a lighter shade than Surfmist, which is the top colour that our clients choose. It will work well with lighter coloured renders, but can also complement elevations with darker tones as it’s available for gutters and fascias.
Dover White has the lowest Solar Absorptance of Colorbond’s standard colours, so it’s a great choice if you want a 7 Star Energy Rated Home.
Southerly
Another light colour to the collection! The Southerly is a pale grey colour than works well with warm colours like Wallaby, but also softens darker colours like Monument. Given how versatile it is (and how more people are choosing lighter colours), we expect to see more of this colour on Perth homes.
Our new display home in Piara Waters features a Southerly roof.
Bluegum
The Bluegum is a cool grey in a darker tone, but it’s not too dark! Don’t be surprised to see this colour pop up alongside other elevation materials like timber or natural stone. It also looks great against a blue tone, especially Colorbond’s Deep Ocean colour.
Pale Eucalypt
The name says it all! This green colour has a muted tone and works well with natural building materials (think timber, mixed stones or cladding). As the colour reflects the natural environment, expect to see the Pale Eucalypt work well against native bushland.
