On Site Visit: Morley

There’s a lot to unpack with this home under construction in Morley.

For starters, it’s a rear block in an infill location. And despite the battle-axe design, it has 5 bedrooms that all have either built-in or walk-in robes.

But what makes it unique is that it is an inter-generational design. This means that in addition to the main living area and kitchen, there’s a separate self-contained area!

These designs are also referred to as multi-gen homes because they suit a family with different age cohorts. The Parents Retreat has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and its very own kitchenette. Plus, the door leading from the main living area can be locked so it gives the parents (or grandparents) their own privacy.

There’s still a few things our team need to do before we hand over the keys, but check out the video if you want to get an idea of how one family can live under the same roof (but with their own space)!
