But it’s important to find the balance of colours that don’t make your home too dark. One common practice is to use light coloured renders, such as Earth Child, Soft Apparition, or Cloudy Sky. These can be offset against darker greys like Shale Grey, Windspray, or Charcoal.
It’s important to note that some land estates and local governments don’t allow dark coloured roofs (this is common across Perth land estates). Make sure you check the design guidelines as you may need to opt for a lighter roof colour.

Warm render combinations include First Snow and Alabaster, Scribbly Gum and Scallopini, and Georgia and Legacy. Frames can be either black or a warm white depending on your preference.
