So we checked out the stats from REIWA to see which Perth suburbs had the highest number of land sales in 2021. It was no surprise that the top 10 were suburbs with multiple land estates!
We’ve also got a list showing the top performing suburbs for 2022and 2023.
Perth suburbs with the most land sales in 2021
- Baldivis – 488 blocks: This southern suburb is consistently popular for first home buyers given its affordability.
- Alkimos – 368 blocks: Our love for the beach continues as this beachside community reaches number 2.
- Byford – 262 blocks: With 8 land estates, there’s plenty of variety in the foothills.
- Brabham – 242 blocks: On the doorstep to the Swan Valley with new schools and shops coming soon!
- Southern River – 209 blocks: There are masterplanned estates with community facilities up and running.
- Eglinton – 191 blocks: Next door to Alkimos, Eglinton is one of the most affordable suburbs along the north coast.
- Wellard– 184 blocks: There’s a range of land estates close to the train station and growing town centre.
- Hammond Park – 178 blocks: The transformation from market gardens to an urban community continues for more families.
- Jindalee – 170 blocks: Another beachside community that still has plenty of growth.
- Piara Waters – 162 blocks: Many land estates are now sold out after consistent demand!
It’s also worth noting that there were a few more suburbs and land estates in Perth with high land sales. Hilbert (155), Aveley (149) and Yanchep (144) were popular for their affordable lifestyle, and Caversham (129) and Dawesville (125) also recorded over 100 land sales throughout the year.
