Here are the top 20 suburbs in Perth that have the most number of jobs. Suburbs like Osborne Park and Canning Vale are industrial precincts that have a strong manufacturing presence. In contrast, suburbs like Joondalup, Fremantle, Midland and Mandurah have a combination of blue and white collar jobs as they are the main district centre. Nedlands is home to the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (including the new Children’s Hospital) and Murdoch has both a hospital and university campus.

New employment precincts in Perth
Yanchep: 55,000 new jobs are expected in the region, with the proposed vision including a hospital, tertiary campuses and a large industrial precinct
Murdoch: Already home to Murdoch University and Fiona Stanley Hospital, the surrounding land will transform into more health-related opportunities to support 35,000 jobs.
Nambeelup: The Peel Business Park is the centrepiece of a 35 year plan that aims for 33,000 new jobs over the coming decades
Forrestdale: The first stage of the Forrestdale Business Park is already open and when complete, will see 12,000 new workers
Wattleup: Latitude 32 is a new precinct that is well under construction that will provide 10,000 new jobs
North Ellenbrook: It’s still under investigation, but there are plans to have industrial jobs given the access to major transport facilities
