Did you know that our Lefkada and Serpentine display homes were built on corner blocks? The Lefkada tapers towards the rear, while the Serpentine has a garage facing the secondary street. Meanwhile, the Cherry is suited to a 15 x 30m block, but for many corner blocks we can make minor amendments to the garage location.
Corner blocks are often larger than traditional blocks, so you have more space for the kids to play outside. Plus, you only have neighbours on one side instead of two.
Some corner blocks will need planning approval depending on what the local council is. It is you builder’s responsibility to check if your home design needs planning approval.
The garage location on a corner block can either be at the front of the home or at the side. The location will depend on the Local Development Plan or other relevant documentation that stipulates where the garage needs to be.
