You know the drill Perth home buyer. You’ve been through the process before, whether it was building or buying established. However, with many grants and schemes in place it can be hard to distinguish what’s available to you as you’re not a first home buyer.
So here’s a quick recap if you’re building a new home in Perth!
Firstly, because you have bought before, you are not eligible for the First Home Owners Grant (FHOG) or the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme (FHLDS).
If you are a single parent, you could be eligible for the Family Home Guarantee that was announced in May 2021 (and yes, previous home buyers can get this!).
And now, we have just launched the Move Homes Second Homebuyer Grant! Because why should first home buyers get all the benefits?!
So what’s the deal?
Here at Move Homes, we noticed that there were a lot of grants and packages just for first home buyers, and we felt it was a bit unfair. We’ve spoken with many previous homebuyers, in particular single or divorced parents, and they want to stop renting. So we created the Move Homes Second Homebuyer Grant.
Here what you need to know:
- The value of the grant is $5,000
- This grant isn’t available with any other promotion from Move Homes
- You must build a home in Perth with Move Homes
There are only limited spots available, so we recommend reaching out to us so we can help you secure your place.
Family Home Guarantee
Aside from the Move Homes Second Homebuyer Grant, there is also the Family Home Guarantee.
This initiative was launched by the Federal Government back in July 2021 so single parents could build a home with just a 2% deposit. Please note that it is only available for new homes (not established).
We mention this because if you have previously owned a home, you could be eligible! And you can get the Move Homes Second Homebuyer Grant as well!
