Does a new year mean there’s a new top suburb for land sales in Perth?
We checked out the stats from REIWA to see which suburbs sold the most blocks and to be honest, the results weren’t surprising. Perth home buyers have continued their love affair with Baldivis and other coastal communities featuring in the top 10.

Perth suburbs with the most land sales in 2022
- Baldivis – 542 blocks: This southern suburb retained top spot with affordable blocks for family homes.
- Alkimos – 400 blocks: Retaining the second spot was this coastal community that continues to grow.
- Byford – 274 blocks: Some estates are now nearing completion as Byford remained in third place.
- Eglinton – 239 blocks: Eglinton jumped up the list thanks to its beachside location.
- Southern River – 238 blocks: This powerhouse suburb saw more estates released in 2022.
- Brabham – 232 blocks: This Swan Valley suburb continued to attract new home buyers.
- Wellard– 205 blocks: The established facilities and train station makes this popular for growing families.
- Hammond Park – 192 blocks: The transformation of this suburb continues.
- Treeby – 184 blocks: The launch of Lake Treeby saw this suburb climb into the top 10.
- Yanchep – 173 blocks: Rounding out the list is this seaside suburb in the north.
There’s a few honourable mentions for suburbs with over 150 land sales. Jindalee (172) was one short of Yanchep, with Hilbert (163), Aveley (153) and Ellenbrook (151) achieving the milestone.
