There are 3 certainties in life – death, taxes, and Baldivis having the highest number of land sales in Perth. While land became harder to secure thanks to demand outstripping supply, the southern suburb continued to be popular for home buyers.
We’ve taken the data from REIWA to see the top 10 suburbs with the most land sales in 2024. There’s no major surprises in the list, but a few suburbs did change spots.

Perth suburbs with the most land sales in 2024
- Baldivis – 371 blocks: Retaining top spot with new land estates and releases happening.
- Eglinton – 169 blocks: Kept second place with several masterplanned estates.
- Hilbert – 156 blocks: Had a huge jump from last year thanks to its affordable price point for families.
- Piara Waters – 142 blocks: Re-entered the list with several new land estates launching this year.
- Southern River – 136 blocks: Cracked the top 10 with new estates and land releases.
- Alkimos – 125 blocks: The other big suburb on Perth’s northern coast that is a consistent top 10 finisher.
- Two Rocks – 122 blocks: A new entrant! The most northern suburb in Perth’s metro area is close to the beach and has big blocks on offer.
- Yanchep – 122 blocks: Borders Two Rocks to the south and features a new train station linking with Perth.
- Hammond Park – 119 blocks: Another top 10 finish given its close proximity to a train station, schools, shops and freeway.
- Mandogalup – 115 blocks: Another new entrant that has 2 masterplanned estates next to the freeway.
Honourable mentions go to Byford (102), Dawesville (92), Sinagra (82), Treeby (78) and Wellard (78).
